Attended a demonstration by a Hermes artist at the Denver Art Museum this weekend. Very very very cool stuff.

Day 123 - May 3, 2010 - "Attempt 2"
Alright - a reboot from yesterday with focus stacking ... still not ideal but neat concept. Would work better in a macro setting I think.

Day 122 - May 2, 2010 - "Attempt 1"
Read about focus stacking today ... thought I'd give it a try ... not till after I tried it did I realize that angle I choose wasn't ideal. Oh well - tomorrow another try.
Day 121 - May 1, 2010 - "キャンディ"
Like I mentioned I would do - I would try to set up a better picture of the japanese KitKat bars a friend brought back from Japan for us. Wish the US division of Nestle would get into this - because some of these are downright delicious.

Day 120 - April 30, 2010 - Revisit Friday - "Electricity"
Had a great view from one of my old apartments and when storms would roll over the mountain I could set up on my balcony and captures pictures of the storms.

Day 119 - April 29, 2010 - "A Little Culture"
I'll admit this picture is just filler until I take a better looking one with this subject. But I'm thrilled to have these. Recently a good friend returned from a trip to Japan and brought us back some regional varieties of KitKats that are available in Japan. Crazy flavors like soy sauce, wasabi, green tea, etc. I must say I really really like the soy sauce flavor odd yes.... but delicious. Big thanks
You can read a bit more about these flavors here;

Day 117 - April 27, 2010 - "Half Size"
Go with what you know ... and do I know these things all too well. Not well enough yet - but that'll come.

Day 112 - April 22, 2010 - "Silhouette"
I'm falling behind on this blog - mainly just keeping it up to date. The pictures are there but the posting is lacking. Gonna try to keep that better this week.

Day 110 - April 20, 2010 - "Vegas Timelapse"
Only about 5-10 minutes captured in this time lapse but thought it was neat.

Day 105 - April 15, 2010 - "Vegas Part I"
I realize I'm late posting this - thats because I've been on vacation to Vegas and just got back and had a chance to look at the computer again. So instead of a "Revisit Friday" post I'm posting a picture from Vegas.

Day 98 - April 8, 2010 - "Not enough of this..."
It's been the theme of this week ... too much to do ... not enough time to do it in. Luckily the weekend is coming and some much needed rest as well. Also one day closer to vacation.

Day 95 - April 5, 2010 - "Sangwich"
Alright truth is I nearly forgot to take a picture yesterday (bad week for that apparently) and this was all I got ... my dinner.

Day 92 - April 2, 2010 - "Talk to me" - Revisit Friday #14
I absolutely never grow tired of going to the zoo. I could go every single day and never bore of it. Plus you get to meet interesting characters like this guy.

Day 91 - April 1, 2010 - "Incoming"
I'm lucky to even have a photo for today that was outdoors. Been beyond crazy busy at work recently (a good thing). Today's photo was the last thing I saw before leaving work - literally a quick snapshot then ducked into the car.

Day 90 - March 31, 2010 - "Treats"
Its been a chaotic week at work - leaving me burnt out or too busy to take pictures during the day. So I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel here. Mention 1 word around this guy and instant excitement.

Day 88 - March 29, 2010 - "The Arrow"
Noticed this drawn with chalk on a nearby building today ... slightly creeped out by it because the arrow just points to a inset doorway about 2 ft deep. It goes no where - its not hidden from anything.

Day 87 - March 28, 2010 - "Nerding Out"
F1 season is here - time to start the near weekly nerd out sessions of watching the race live and following the live timing/scoring online.

Day 86 - March 27, 2010 - "Mix"
Another one of those days where I realize much too late that I had no picture for the day. So I decided to learn a bit about the onboard flash on the camera. I'm usually one thats pretty quick to talk down about the onboard flash systems ... but I'm surprised at what you might be able to do it with.
Day 85 - March 26, 2010 - "Old Times" - Revisit Friday #13
Another Friday another revisit Friday ... oh ok so technically its Saturday when this post is going up ... was too busy yesterday to post it up. But since it was a revisit day it works out ok. This picture wasn't taken by me, but I wanted to share it anyway. Its a picture taken of my Grand Dad's old service station, thats him standing in the doorway. I'm always entranced by these old pictures, hence why I volunteered to scan in every single family photo album we have (some 20+ of them) so I could have access to all these old pictures.

Day 84 - March 25, 2010 - "Crumbling"
Heres a lawsuit waiting to happen - a step not far from the office. The winter freeze/thaw has taken its toll on this old sidewalk and its looking pretty bad.

Day 83 - March 24, 2010 - "Inner Workings"
Coors Field is always interesting to me because of these things. A modern steel frame hiding behind a make believe historic looking brick facade that fits into the neighborhood. Great job of integrating the old with the new.
